Bible Study Opportunities

Several Bible study groups are being offered this fall. If you are interested in any of these groups, contact Rachelle Speer.  

Disciple 1: "Becoming Disciples through Bible Study" is an overview of the entire Bible.  This group will meet every other Tuesday night at 6:30 pm, beginning Aug. 30.  Rev. Kent Melcher will be the facilitator. He plans to offer the Old Testament this year and the New Testament the following year.

Disciple 2: "Into the Word: Into the World" covers Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts. This group meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm.  Pastor Dave and Pastor Beth will be the facilitators

"Covenant" is a 24-week in-depth group Bible study in which people read and discuss the Bible together, learning how to love God -- and others -- better. Covenant is broken into three 8-week modules, each dealing with a different aspect of what covenant means: Creating, Living, Trusting. Pastor Rachelle Speer is the facilitator for this group that will meet on Sundays from 6:00 - 7:30, beginning Oct. 2.

The Women's Bible Study that meets at Julie Rice's home is continuing their study of "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer. AFter that the group will study the book of Revelation. The group welcomes new women. They meet Tuesdays at 10:00 am at 12 Leed Rd. Come join them on Sept. 5, or for any questions, please call Julie at 229-8846.

Come Wednesday Noon - Meets at noon on Wednesdays in the Church Library. This group uses different books to guide their studies. Contact facilitator Lois Cole if you are interested.

Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study - Jo Ann Tasker is the facilitator for this group for women that meets at 10:30 am Wednesday. They use different books to guide their studies. Limit of 12 people. 

The Young Women's Bible Study meets on Thursdays from 8:30 - 10:30 am in Room 200. Please speak with Lindsay Wilke for more information and email Nursery Director Mandie Speegle,, with the ages of your children (birth - 5 years old) if you need childcare.
