Reformation Sunday

Sunday, Oct. 29, we will celebrate the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, which marked the beginning of the Reformation. Pastor Beth will preach that day as we explore the impact of that event and the Reformation of the church that led to the Protestant church of which United Methodists are a part.

Another special feature of worship that day is the music which will include a wonderful collection of music by Mozart and Martin Luther played by Chance Alquest on the organ as well as singing some of the great hymns of the faith. Don’t miss this special Sunday!

All Saints Sunday

Sunday, Nov. 5, is All Saints Sunday. We will list in the worship guide the names of members and friends of the church who have passed away this last year. If you have a loved one who has died this year, and whose name you would like to have included, please call the church office, 221-2700 or email by Monday, Oct. 30.
